Add MidwithMe to your home screen.
Stay logged in, and get notifications straight to your device like a real app. No app store. No download. But your phone needs to meet a few minimum requirements, please check below first.
Will this work on your phone?
This page installs MidwithMe as a web app, which means it behaves like a real app and can send notifications. But it only works on newer phones and browsers. Check below before you install. If your device is too old, the icon will just be a bookmark, every tap will dump you on the login screen, and notifications won't work.
If you're on iPhone or iPad
Your phone needs all of these:
- iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or newer
- iPhone 8 or newer (or any iPad released 2018 or later)
- You must use Safari to install (not Chrome)
For the best experience, update to iOS 26. That's where the "Open as Web App" toggle appears in the install dialog. If you see that toggle, you're set.
If you're on Android
Your phone needs all of these:
- Android 8.0 or newer
- Chrome, Samsung Internet, Edge, or Firefox (Chrome works best)
- Latest version of your browser
Chrome will usually offer to install MidwithMe automatically with a small banner. If you see it, just tap install. Otherwise follow the manual steps below.
It will NOT work as an app if:
You're on iPhone 7 or older, or any iPhone running iOS 15 or earlier. Apple won't let these phones update past iOS 15, so installing will only create a bookmark that opens Safari.
You install on Android using a very old browser, or an Android version older than 8.0 (Oreo).
You install via Chrome on iPhone instead of Safari. Always use Safari on iPhone.
How to check my iPhone or iPad's iOS version
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap About.
- Look at the line that says iOS Version or Software Version.
If the number starts with 16.4 or higher, you're good. If it's lower, go back to Settings → General → Software Update and install the latest update. If no update is offered, your phone is too old to update further.
How to check which iPhone or iPad I have
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap About.
- Look at the line that says Model Name.
If it says iPhone 8 or higher (including iPhone X, XS, XR, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, SE 2nd or 3rd gen), you're good. If it says iPhone 7, 6s, 6, 5s, or SE 1st gen, your phone is too old for this to work as a real app.
How to check my Android version
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap About phone (sometimes called About device).
- Tap Android version (or Software information on Samsung).
If the number is 8.0 or higher, you're good. If it's lower, check Settings → System → Software update to see if any updates are available. Some older phones can't update past a certain Android version.
How to update my browser
On iPhone: Safari updates with iOS. Update iOS to update Safari. Go to Settings → General → Software Update.
On Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon (top right), tap Manage apps & device, then Updates available. Find Chrome (or your browser) and tap Update.
Phone too old to install? Don't worry.
You can still use MidwithMe by visiting app.midwithme.com.au in your browser any time. You'll just need to log in each visit and won't get notifications. Bookmark the page so it's easy to find.
