The CoCE offers Mums-to-be the opportunity to voluntarily participate in a program where they are paired with a Student Midwife throughout their pregnancy journey. Provides support during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the early postpartum period. Your Student Midwife will learn alongside you, providing care while supervised by experienced midwives. Once you’ve paired with a Student Midwife, you will be asked to consider offering opportunities for the student to accompany you through: Antenatal Visits: Attend at least 4 appointments with you. Labour and Birth: Support you during labour and birth (if you’re comfortable). Postnatal Visits: Complete at least 2 follow-up visits after your baby is born.
