Sitting on our back verandah at home in Melbourne we (Juanita and Nick),
a Mum and Son duo, came up with the idea to empower Student Midwives
and Mums-to-be to make deeper and easier connections for the Midwifery ‘Continuity of Care Experience’ program. By streamlining the process and focusing on building deeper and more nurturing CoCE relationships, we knew
we could empower students and pregnant women to thrive, and create a
ripple effect that positively impacts families, communities and the future Midwifery industry in its entirety.

Inspired by Juanita’s three decades of nursing expertise, educating over 80,000 healthcare professionals Australia wide and being an incredible Mum of two, and Nick’s decade of experience in Design, UX/UI, and project management - our combined skills and shared dedication, alongside students and pregnant women’s stories created the perfect blend for fuelling our idea. From the initial idea and our active prototype to the ongoing development of the app, MidwithMe has been a labour of love. We have poured our hearts and souls into birthing a platform that genuinely empowers and benefits our growing community.

The Proof Is In The Pudding

We both remember the Friday night we announced our service. The response was overwhelming – nearly 100 Student Midwives and Mums-to-be contacted us, excited to be involved. This was the BIG moment we knew we could make a difference. In just 9 months and prior to launching our app, we've successfully connected over 1700 Mums-to-be & Student Midwives, creating positive experiences for both.
